1 April is my birthday. Woohoo! It falls on the same day as Aprilfool's Day. Too bad.as i still had to go for my EP3 after school until 7 pm. After my EP3, i rushed home to take part in the activities my parents had planned for me. First, we went to a famous restaurant to eat dinner. I ate many delicious dishes but among all of them, i love the chicken the most, just for a simple reason. I like to eat chicken. After that, we went home to cut the birthday cake. It was made specially for me. I was surprised. It looked so delicious that i thought it was brought from a cake shop. But there was one problem. It was too big. In the end we have to cut the cake into half and then eat the other half the next day. The last part was the presents. I opened them slowly and was delighted to see a car magazine and a Wii car game! I immediately read the magazine and played the game. It was my best birthday ever.

Lewis Hamilton is my favourite Formula One racer. He joined Formula One in 2007, losing the world championship title to Kimi Raikkonen in his first year by just one point. He tried to perform better in the following year and finally was the world champion of Formula One in 2008. He did not do too well for 2009, getting fifth overall as he did badly in the starting few races and only caught up towards the end. But this year, it would be different. I am confident that he will be the world champion for this year, 2010. His performance at the Malaysian Grand Prix Race made me have that confidence. Due to the rain in the qualifying round, Lewis Hamilton and other racers chose the dry tyres and not the wet ones, which made them lose control and were eventually disqualified in the first qualifying round. I was disheartened to hear this as this was one of the worst performances he had so far. He got the twentieth position for the starting grid of the Malaysian Grand Prix Race. I looked forward to knowing the position of Lewis Hamilton at the end of the Malaysian Grand Prix Race because he is quite good at overtaking racers. When the race had finished, i immediately went to the internet to find out the results. I was shocked to hear that Lewis Hamilton actually clinched the sixth place! He overtook fourteen cars! It was impossible. I told myself that i had chosen the right racer. A racer who is fast and good at overtaking. Even though he did not win the race, he made greatest progress in the race, overtaking fourteen racers. The only racer who had the same great progress as Lewis Hamilton in the Malaysian Grand Prix Race was Felipe Massa, who started out in the twenty first position and ended just behind Lewis Hamilton, in seventh place, overtaking fourteen cars too.
